Poem about futility of some actions
Yonder beyond those snowclad mountains,
A relic of a hamlet stands,
A noisy streamlet screams swelled with rains,
Breaking rocks to sands,
An overhanging tree that use to hold the flakes,
Was too old and cold,
The Housekeeper had a lingering fear,
So it was cut and sold,
The birds are homeless yet silent,
They see something called blood,
Of that good Old tree that was there,
Who spoke about the flood,
Which never came until now,
Down with thunderous downpour,
That shook the earth and ate the Hamlet,
Sadly the Housekeeper is no more.
