It's a little harsh and not that good.
Evelina Rose

The hurt she felt had never been revealed
Until that dreadful day
They asked her “What’s the matter?”
And she said “Go Away.”

Before that second she had been doing
What she always did best
She took her pain out of her head
Because she was depressed

Each slit she made, each drop of blood
Would heal her soul inside
Transferring the pain from her head to her wrist
Was like a never ending tide

“I’m fine.” She told them when they asked
She always knew the drill
Just tell them everything is okay
And her secrets would never spill

And back to that day, her battle had ended
And she didn’t win nor lose
It was a battle against herself
And one side she’d have to choose

The day was long and the weather was hot
She was wearing that sweater again
To cover up her battle scars
So the world would know she’s sane

And that moment the heat arose
And it became too much
She fell onto the pavement
With nothing but a touch

A couple moments later
She found her self awake
With a crowd surrounding her
She had made a huge mistake

That sweater was no longer on her
It was lying on the ground
And all those battle scars were bare
While no one made a sound

She was slowly led into a room
Where a woman took her name
She told her “We can help you”
“And your life is not a game”

She left for camp that summer
Though she wanted to go home
She was greeted by some peers
Who taught her she wasn’t alone

And as for that battle, we’ll never know
Just which side she chose
But all is well and all is calm
