Inside Me

There is a darkness all around me,
I wrap in it tight,
for in that darkness the pain you have caused can not touch me,
so it seems,
but I am wrong.

My best friend,
my sister,
lost forever to be replaced by someone I don't know,
someone I fear,
someone I hate.

But yet I sit here crying these tears,
thinking these dark thoughts,
remembering old times never to be lived again.

Why you may ask,
because I miss those good times,
I miss that person.

Because I never stopped caring.
