A poem about a man's revenge after the grave...
Living a balanced life of love, pain, stress and happiness
Often he resorted to the bitter emotion of angriness
He loved to hate and at times hated to love
A man who knew what he wanted when push came to shove

He grew up with a normal childhood and a memorable teenage life
He soon became a man, lived his dream and found his wife
They exchanged vows and were destined to love to the end
Until the man recieved a wound inside that would never mend

His loving wife was not what she originally seemed
Sleeping with his best friend, the friend became a fiend
Bitter words and heartache followed
The man with nothing left screamed, fell and cried in sorrow

His life was crushed, his friend- a traitor, his wife was no longer for him
His betraying friend was in fear of his ex-friend who was residing in the dark and dim
In fear, confusion and chaos, the traitor pulled a gun upon his former friend
The bullet seemed to end it all, but all did not end as the wife would intend

A soul does not leave the Earth until his business is finished
This was no exception, the spirit of the man would not diminish
He would not go quietly into the darkness from this injustice and wrong
The spirit ensured his vengeance would not be long

The traitor and the wife went on without a care
Putting the past behind them, no burdens they would bare
Until the night of the soul's vengeance they would regret forever
This one night would be their final moment and last tether

The vengeful soul appeared in their bedroom with a look of revenge and hate
The traitor reached for the door handle but he was too late
He was struck down for good; an eternity in Hell ensued his life
The wife filled with disbelief fell by the hand of her ex-husband and his knife

The soul was now ready to proceed on with it's life
The traitor in Hell and the same fate for his wife
What's next for this soul? Heaven, Hell, Limbo- It might as well be up to a dice's roll
But one thing was for sure, vengeance was sweet for this soul

The End
