Different style poem, a different rythmn, I'd like to know what you think? |
A Momentary Dream By Richard Vance Without a conscious thought revealed, No outward sign, No sound, No sure emotion born, Will clearly tie the sudden vacant mind to earthly ground, No human hand can stop the spirit’s fleeting journey into space and time unseen, A momentary dream, A waking moment pushed aside, Where the unbound spirit soars, at last, across the great divide, To find a destination so well known before it all began this time, to speak, to see, or play, To take an active role as joyous scenes unfold, or learn a lesson, get advice, see the future, past, or present life, Not yet set in stone, one destiny, and many possibilities abound, to make a change, walk some different paths, to find a love, forgive the one, to chose, and hopefully be right, To walk, or run, or contemplate what just might come to be, And choose the one that’s right for me |
