I know how it feels to be on top of your game then fall into a bottomless pit

I know how it feels to be on the phone with your ex-girlfriend and then when her boyfriend calls she hangs up

I know how it feels to

Paint pictures with no paint

Get stabbed in the back by your best friend

I know how it feels to put your trust in human and get crossed

I know how it feels to sell drugs

To be the least favorite

To be the last person picked on the football team

I know how it feels to be an outcast

I know how it feels to be the third wheel when your homeboy got his girlfriend with him

I know how it feels to get blamed for something you never done

I'm not God but I know how it feels to be praised and worshiped for my actions

I know how it feels to feel like a gangster on the outside and a nerd on the inside

I bleed pain

My spiritual heart feels like that girl who wants attention so she talks to every boy at her school

Or when I'm strong my heart feels like Samson before Delilah cut his hair

All this pain has helped me become who I am today

Not perfect but happy

So don't come telling me I don't know how you feel

Because a poet always has a story to tell
