The sky lit up
the lakefront shook
He glanced at her
that was all it took
The heart-shaped tatoo above her V
it was too dark for him to see
But he saw her shorts fall
onto the floor he did crawl
He spread her open in the dark
exploring with his tongue
Like two lovers in the dark
oh, how the river does run
Excitement builds moan by moan
blood rushes, emotions heighten
Like the fireworks in the night
he made her world whiten
Explosions filled the air
in the room & in the sky
The Great Red, white, & blue--
He took her there
I should know
Because that girl was I.
