Finding new hope, a new beginning
going through the motions once again
boy meets girl, finds infatuation
so many questions, could love be on the cards

She is a nice girl, she has heart
i believe she could make me happy
though this road a familiar one
is still an example of new hope

Both been hurt and used before
each shed their share of tears
afraid of been hurt once more
fearing the next pain may be the last

Is such a leap of faith to take
without knowing what, to think, to feel
what will it take for us to proceed
out onto the edge and beyond

With mind racing and heart confused
we must take this chance
for not doing so, we watch life pass by
our fears put behind us and with faith
it is another journey our heart must reluctantly take
