Died and Gone to Heaven

Silently I'm waiting, I'm waiting in the dark
The only sound I'm hearing is the beating of my heart,
I squint into the darkness, I see something dart,
from one corner to another, just like a work of art.

I look again and see it comming,
suddenly my eyes are burning,
I open them to see it ripping,
time and space, my mind is racing.

Everything now looks so white,
I lift myself I feel so light!
I turn to see a beautiful sight,
the golden road and rainbow bright.

I follow the path to find myself
looking at the beauty and all the wealth,
I continue, and find the tree of life itself!
I eat it's fruit and gain much health.

Now I hear some music ringing,
I follow it to find them singing,
Angel's, voices not one note stinging,
I turn to see whom they were clinging,

When I saw Him I wanted to cry,
My Father! now I know I've died,
I raced to Him, I almost fly
He lifts me up right by His side.

( Ok this is like... the 2nd peom I've ever written so be nice please. But really tell me what i need to improve and what I did wrong. And the "that's cool"s is also welcome. I hope you liked it. and by the way in case you don't know 'Him' is God or Jesus I don't really care which, cause I'm going to Heaven! )
