Just a bunch of my own randomocity.
I give a part of myself
To everyone I meet.
Hoping that one day
I will find someone
Who is as selfless as me.

Is it so wrong to pursue
A life of honesty and hope
That things will turn out
The way that I want?

Trivial conversations
They do not stimulate me.
Some guy at the gas station,
The guy that serves me a beer,
The chick at the club…
Who are these people?

Constantly being eyed up and down.
I’m going to stop averting my eyes.
Gaze upon these men as they look at me.
Would I be considered a desperate whore?
I am who I am,
Not who you think I am.

I love life, because it loves me back.
So much sadness, yet I smile
When someone looks.
My body shivers.
It’s been so long. .
