Hidden

The things that you keep hidden,
the things that they don’t know,
The things you hide behind your smile,
the things that you don’t show.

Those things you keep so bottled up,
safe with the lid on tight,
Those things that seem to stay away,
till you're alone at night.

Those cries that only God can hear,
pain only He can see,
Those things you keep so locked away,
God only has the key.

Sometimes it gets so lonely,
it feels so hard to bear,
Just know that when you feel alone,
God is always there.

He’s there to lift your burdens,
He’s there to wipe your tears,
He’s there to take your pain away,
He’s there to calm your fears.

Just know that you can trust Him,
And that He knows it all,
He’ll never let it take you out,
He’ll never let you fall.
