Seeing isn’t Always Believing I ask myself all the time, Why would anyone not have faith? Is it because they are afraid? Afraid of the virtuous path that having faith commands? Afraid that just maybe there will then be someone to stand by them? Someone to walk with them Someone to guide and lead them People say, “why should I believe? I have never seen him” My answer to that is seeing isn’t always believing Isaac Newton says gravity exists, However I have not seen it, but I see the effects of it all around me, as I see the effects of God all around me He is in the hearts and minds of all who accept him He walks beside me everyday He carries me through the hard times He is my savior and my one true God Now I ask nonbelievers a question What do you have to lose by accepting God? The answer to my own question is nothing. You have nothing to lose but so much to gain If there is no God in heaven and you are a nonbeliever You have lost nothing If there is no God in Heaven and you have faith You have still lost nothing However if there is a God in heaven and you are a nonbeliever You are eternally condemned and you have lost everything Conversely, if there is a God in heaven, and you have faith You have gained everything! You have gained eternal life |
