A poem about an intense strugle long passed.
Once again I bend to your will.
I fear that I may never escape your lure, your call.
Breaking in the sweetest of secrets, you are what lies deep within.

I am not free, but niether am I chained.
I walk and speak, but it is when you scream through my veins I am whole.

My death, this bodies inevitable fall into oblivion will come by your hand.
It is not what I want, but it is what I crave.
The walls crumble, weakened yet clear headed.

I am apprehensive from dawn until the pale light of the moon reclaims the land, but you give me life, emotion. Even quivering from the unanswered becomes subtle respect for the understanding we share.
