This poem was inspired by Anne Sexton's poetry.
I am not one for hope
But hope is not one for me.
Death sees with golden eyes
A faith that’s meant for me.
I hold the knife so gently
As I drag the blade across
I want so badly to press down
But fear possesses the froth.
I can’t see through the tears
But I can feel the pain
My death will be a joy for all
Who live life in vain.
