Inspired by certain incidents all cat owners eventually face...
Incident
Cold blue eyes watching
The beast inspecting its prey
With nought but clinical note
Its movement learned this day

The silent monster creeps up
The creature is at its beck
The white beast pounces on its prey
Fangs sink into its neck

Dragging it back to its lair
A tongue licking the inert head
The predator leaves its gift
On its owner’s bed.
