A year and a half ago I've added the most dramatic short story into my portfolio and entitled it "Traversing." I consider it as my masterpiece but subsequently it lost into two national competitions (Carlos Palanca Memorial Awards for Literature and Neil Gaiman Fiction Awards). It's a heartbreak on my part because I found the literary pieces as a part of my own and losing two competitions is quite a bit harsh. I know a lot people might have find my story difficult to read because of its unusual narrative but I believe the story has its merits for its unusual style. Well, I cannot please the judges if they haven't liked my work but that wouldn't stop me from writing. In the near future I'll be having my anthology of works, and this will definitely make to my future collection.
Oh well ... I lost again
(I'll post the short story in the future)
