This is the beginning
Of the sassest end
Once we start living
We go around a bend

Childhoods' sweet nectar
Gives them hope and peace
But one day another bend
And another step to the end

Adolesent new to power
Find it growing by the hour
But one day this too ends
Another turn another bend

As adults we have to work
And strive for money
But soon this day also ends
And so to the hardest bend

The very last of our bends
To gently take us to our ends
Is of old age
