A prompt-based mystery short story contest PROMPT1 WINNERS ANNOUNCED

Welcome to my contest!

Prompt:
Write a mystery story centered around a spoon.
OR
Write a mystery story that includes one or more of the following objects/ideas:

rainy overcast day

water

park

stopping and staring at a house

drinking soda on back deck

trees along a creek

an open garage

police cars

building construction

smoke/grill

Rules:
1.) MUST be rated 18+ or less.
2.) More than one entry? Ok. But more than one WINNING entry? No.
3.) Short stories, chapters, extracts, etc. accepted. Your entry can be part of something larger.
4.) Your entry doesn't have to be something new, it can be something you've already written.
5.) Entries must be posted in {bitem{ format.
6.) Closing date: December 31st, 2006. In order for prizes to be awarded I need at least 5 entries by then. You can edit your entry if you need until the deadline, we will judge your entry by how it looks on that day.
