Regarding a complimentary photo whose subject sees its allure as counterfeit.
At that moment I was someone I
Will never ever be again
That moment is captive
But it is still lost

For a moment I smiled
It wasn't real, only pretend
That moment was staged
That moment was false

In that moment I was someplace I
Can't return to, ever again
That angle is unique
That lighting is obsolete

For a moment I did not exist
I loaned my body to self-assurance
That moment was just an act, and then
It was over in a blinding flash

It looks nice, but it
Doesn't represent me well
When it was taken, I wasn't who I am
Every other second of the day
