Wishes are only that.
I wish I could scream, but my voice is hoarse.
I wish I could see, but the tears are forced.
I wish I could breathe, but there's no more air.
I wish I could leave, but the path's not there.
I wish I could fly, but I've lost my wings.
I wish I could love, but I don't need anything.
I wish I could live, but death is my choice.
I wish I could be, but it arrives void.
I wish I could dream, but things come up blank.
I wish I could die, but my hand's are only damp.
I wish I could stay, but I have to go.
Because wishes are only that, even I should know.
