I'm told I'm not a good writer. So here's one that needs to be read by those.
My Style! My Way!

Your poems are too long; “I” write short ones.
You have too many rhymes; “MY” style has none.
You add to much personal stuff; I don’t like those.
You march to your own beat, the way you compose.

…So I change my style, then I’m told!

Your poems are way too short, and don’t say much.
The words don’t flow, they’re not balanced enough.
You should try it “MY” way, because others do.
Must you march to your own beat, why must you be you?

…So I decided.

I write from MY heart, to please myself.
And share it with others, who write just as well.
Not looking for awards or acceptance from you.
Just conveying thoughts, emotions, and experience true.

…So here are my thoughts.

So you don’t like my poems, please save your breath.
I don’t care to hear that “YOUR” style is the best.
I march to my own beat, my style is my own.
Not a thing will I amend, I'll stand out alone.

..For those who've had their works hacked up, and rearrange by others, until you don't even recognize your own work.
