Read it. Fiction
I tried to stop my best friend
I knew her life would never mend.
I tell her not to hurt herself, and we get into a fight
But all she says is "Yeah, right"

I say "Yes, you are worth it."
She says "I don't think I am, for life, fit."
I tell her not to hurt herself, and we get into a fight
But all she says is "Yeah, Right"

She thinks no one will cry
When she makes herself die
I tell her not to hurt herself, and we get into a fight
But all she says is "Yeah, Right"

I tell my friend not to give into the pressure.
"You aren't of the lesser"
I tell her not to hurt herself, and we get into a fight
But all she says is "Yeah, right"

And now I sit on the hospital bed
By my friend with a hole in her head.
I told her not to hurt herself, and we got into a fight
But all she said was "Yeah, right"
