A series of a strange forest and a boy's prophecy the revolves around it.
It was a dark night, and three mysterious figures, camouflaged in black cloaks, moved silently across the plain seperating the town from Sylack forest. An own hooted in the distance. "Why are we coming out here again?" asked the youngest of the three. "Quiet, Semurl." Hissed Lemurn, the oldest. "The boy has a right to know now." Hissed the third. He brought the boy to a side. "We can't stop, Teinmer." whispered Lemurn. "It'll take but a minute." He replied. "Listen, Semurl. There is a prophecy. Not like those prophecies that you hear by campfires. Those are for entertainment, and entertainment alone. YOUR prophecy is true." "My proph-." "The prophecy says that one from the changing age, which is thirteen, will go into the forest of change. Which is Sylack. Then he, will go to the heart of it to change the dark happenings. In case you haven't noticed, many strange and bad things have been happening around the town lately. Families losing children. Crops and cattle dying..." He leaned closer to Semurl and said "...for no reason." Semurl gasped. "Come there is no time to lose. We must go before the villagers have realized we've gone." They made it to the end of the plain, and the edge, of Sylack forest. "This is where we leave you, Semurl." said Lemurn "What?!" exclaimed Semurl. "You have to find out what to do on your own. We know nothing of it ourselves." "But then, how do you know I'm the one?" "All we know is what the prophecy said. You were all it described." "It is near midnight, Teinmer." "Yes, we must go dear boy. May luck be with you." And they disappeared into the shadows. Semurl turn to the forest and with hesitation, ventured inside. He spotted a shadow moving quickly between trees. "Who's there?" he said. It said nothing. He heard a growl. He slipped on the forest floor, got up, stumbled, and ran with all his might... To be continued.
