a poem i wrote on a whim turned out to be good |
Soul searching in a cup of coffee talking to the deaf and blind dive into my heart you'll never reach the bottom swim into my mind but beware of the current it's liable to confuse and weaken I'll visit the unimaginables while you draw a map a map of unknown territories deciding what lines what lines i should cross to step over and emerge into steady streams of consiousness a no mans land of opportunities opportunities just out of reach nothing really makes sense when you're upside down in a bottle seeing double and it's pitch black you'll never feel quite taken aback when life is seeming so ordinary it's likely that it isn't isn't so ordinary When joy fills you so much you feel you have wings do not try to fly unless you have a license license to fathom fathom new heights of utopia so let your mind fly at break neck speeds it's only healthy only normal to let those around you set standards standards that are not your own questioning what is real makes for a painful life accepting yourself is key the key to unlock yourself Do you believe what you see? can you hear the tide of your memories washing up on the shore of the past? little introspective points of view the things we don't behold to be actual answer my questions they are questionable in reason they are words all in my mouth yet they refuse to exit to leave and come out and you really don't know what i mean interpretations aren't enough for this I have so many shoes and you haven't walked in any of them yes, and let your mind wander the next time you have a cup of coffee |
