Felicity begins her experiment.
Fresh out of computing and into art class, Felicity felt a little at ease. Her canvas as her psychologist, Felicity would spill her guts in red, pinks, and whites. The art teacher was fond of Felicity, but knew she would never be able to get too close to her. While Felicity vented to her canvas, her thoughts crossed back to her new project. Love. How do you even begin to describe love? Felicity thought perhaps instead of sitting back and pondering she should jump straight in with her carefully constructed plan in mind. Stepping back and admiring her art, Felicity realized that her project was but anything, a scientific experiment. “Great” she said out loud, only to have her art teachers eyes gaze over her for the fourth time this period.

Kicking off her shoes and jumping onto her bed Felicity began the first chapter of this new book, constructing the lab report. Felicity needed a hypothesis this stumped her. What did she expect love to do? Would it tear people down or lift them up? After several minutes of contemplation she penciled, “Love will eventually destroy participants”. With the word participants in mind, Felicity thought it would only hinder her experiment to tell the selected people that she was planning to make them fall in love with her for the name of science. So her chosen few were written down into the lab report and while closing her new book, she felt the same sense of power she had felt the night before.

She woke up with the name Lisa Anderson on her lips. Felicity stood in front of the mirror and examined herself. While she knew her project would be a far cry from just a challenge, she couldn’t help but radiate confidence. Her pill-popping mother gave her more than just intelligence but beauty. Felicity used to take modeling classes when she was young, but as she grew up began to despise them and stopped attending. These classes did open her eyes to her own natural beauty, and beauty for this project, would be a very important tool. She stepped her long legs into her unflattering school dress and while zipping it up over her prominent hips, she nodded with satisfaction at how desirable she could look.

Felicity stepped into art class with butterflies in her small stomach. She sat down by her canvas, and once again, the teacher’s eyes quickly stole a glance at Felicity. “Hi Miss Anderson” Felicity chirped up. She had begun her project, and it could easily destroy her too.
