A statement on the Human Condition as it is today.
The Human Condition

Are you suggesting - this prison that Im in,
was made from my devices - was built from own my sin?

Are you implying - that I pushed God away,
to make room for my idols - to be with them today?

Did I hear you mention - there is suffering in the dark?
So stand out in the light - it would really ease my heart?

Did you accuse me of broken direction - and empty desires?
Was it you who said that flesh - would burn upon the fire?

Who is my God?
It’s time I really understand,
If the water I am drinking - is even fit for man.
Where are my thoughts?
Are they a tied up worldly fight?
Or are they focused on him - and the flowing love of life.

I fall to my knees - and I give him all I have.
Take it from me lord - and hold me in you hands.
This human condition - has left me broken inside
Lord, may there only be your will!
: May you live here in my life:

Are you suggesting - these chains here in my life
Could finally be broken - things could finally work out right?

Are you implying - this choking of my needs
Is brought on by my own hands - I can let go and breath?

And did I hear you mention – all these things that I hide.
They only push me deeper - into the darker side of life?

Did you accuse me of having - some very rare dis-ease.
That I could easily cure - If I spent time on my knees?

Why does the light burn my eyes?
Why does the Son make me - want to disguise.
Every shattered, broken, battered, fractured - part of my soul.
It’s not as if the Lord - doesn’t already know.
