childrens. Billy saves the day poem like
Now, sit dow’ ‘roun’ I tell ya a tell,
Of Big-o-Bill out by dat der hill.
Now as legend tell, It was once a mine
Pulled out gold, der mighty fine.

Billy was born with wheels on his feet
Runnin’ down ‘erbody he meet
Strong lil’ kid, caus by ten
He’d wrasled out a whole bear den

By age tweny’ three
Was as big as a tree
Pick up logs like sticks
Hop ‘or mounts jus’ fo’ kicks
Big-o-Billy swing no pick axe,
Blow dynamite, o lay down tracks,
He ran a mine caw’ all da way down,
Brung back up, nuf’ gold buy a town.

Worken’ in da’ mine riden’ up an down
Ran a cross a guy he never seen roun’
Man wore a hat, had a piggish nose
Smelled real bad, had jus’ two toes
With a oink-like voice the pig-man said
“ Nex’ man walk by, I’ll drop ‘im dead.”

Billy hop out his cart
Poked the pig right in the hart.
Billy got real big and dis’ he say
“Step off, Pig, That aint da’ way”
The piggy man puffed up his size
For a sec, this took Billy fo’ surprise
The pig man pounced biten’ fo’ Billys head
If he hadn’t moved he’d a been dead
Then he pulled back his arm and with a wild puch
Made he Pig man ta bacon and made ‘erbody lunch

Now ‘der be many a tale
‘bout Billy ‘an how he fell
But no mater what ya ‘body tell
This is how it happen’. How Billy fell

Now da’ man in charge had a daughter
Everybody said marry Billy, she ‘ohta.
One day she was hanggen’ round,
Tripp’ an fell right under the groun’
Bill came racenn’ roun’ an’ roun’
Grab’ his lucke’ car, an’ head on down.

One-hunner’ miles an hour, at ninte’ degrees.

‘erbody up top shaken’ der knees
waiten’ en silence fo’ ol’ Billy.

When the nex’ day come, what dey see,
Bride on shoulder is ol’ Billy.
“ I’m caught in love” them two say
Dey get hiched deah nex’ day
At the big show, the priest did say.
“Any agaist this marriage, speak or never say”
The brides dad raised his hand
“She my daughter, man”
“It’s okay poppy” she did say,
“we jus’ live crows da’ way”
with tears the man sat down,
love’s circle fully aroun’

Now a few year’ later, Baby an’ all
Billy’s hole family took dat’ fall
We all waited days
In a dope-ish haze.
Den we herd a ‘Thunk’
Come up from dat der cave,

Billy was gone, maken’ dis
A good ol’ song
Bill and friends never seen again
Never hangin’ roun’
‘cepet down real China Town.

Kid beware
Now her’ come a scare
Bill an Co. ya’ can still hear
Come time an big-o ‘quake
Put your ear to the hill an’ wait
The rumblen’ ya’ hear
And the dirt in der’
It Billy’s cart rumblen’ roun’
Way down der, under da’ groun’
