She smiled at me
and I thought to say
Hi there darling
are you going my way?
Instead I just smiled
and sat next to her
Trying to speak
but my mind was a blur
I wanted to see

I paused and delayed
and to my surprise
She turned to me
she offered her hand
We made aquaintance
and my eyes she scanned
