A WINTER WONDERLAND


Amid the wind swept icy plain

Where penguines glide on
Icicle sleds.
Neptune's bergs control
The seas,
Enticing walruses to
Rest their heads.

Without warning the
Orcas strike,
Nothing escapes the
Deed is done.
Everyone flees to
Relative safety,
Leaving the torn and battered one.
Amid the wind swept icy plain where
Nature claimes its own rewards,
Daring penguines resume their fun.
