Written after the devastation of New Orleans by Hurricane Katrina.
She has come to settle the score
Bearing a label, category four
Tangled ruins are all that remain
Litter, rubble in the pouring rain
Looters scurry from store to store
No distinction between pimp and whore
New Orleans

Surrounded levies break and bend
Surrender to the fury of the wind
The wealthy pack, hurry to hide
The poor sacrificed, buried by the tide
Leaders stunned point and blame
Mother Nature has spoken her Name
Katrina
