I have night terrors. Writing is the way I deal with it.
He knows when you've got company.
He knows when you're alone.

He knows when you're awake.
He knows when you're asleep.

He knows just how to scare you.
He knows which face to make.

He knows your biggest fear.
He knows which nightmare to imitate.

He knows everything about you.
He knows your biggest mistake.

He knows you want to run.
He knows you want to hide.

He knows just where your going.
He's along for the ride.

He knows you can't fight forever.
He knows one day you must sleep.

So on the other side,
he patiently waits.
