piney, evergreen.
Surrounded
by children waiting
for Santa to
arrive; hiding, pretending
to sleep peacefully.
Adults talking - enjoying Christmas;
enjoying the cheer and the
happiness so warm that even the
coldest of winter blizzards can’t freeze
you. Remembering the child king
born in a stable. Remembering when love came
to earth.
