A kind word lasts forever.
It engulfs me in warmth.
It serves as a fire in my heart
to keep love blazing hot.
It flows through memories
like a great river gorging itself
till it overflows
and spills onto other in its wake.
It cradles me in loving arms.
It nestles deep within my soul.
A kind word needs to be shared
with all mankind.
