The Meaning of Life

I have pondered over what I think is the most important thing in life. It has nothing to do with money or the things I own. Those things may be important to some extent, but not important in the grand scheme of things as I have seen it.
Instead, the things I have found to be important are a kiss from a small child. Hearing I love you. Time to look around, feel the cool breezes touching your skin. A warm smile. A loving embrace. Five minutes to write.
To me, it's the simple things that have proved to make a better life. Slowing down to enjoy the world around me. Passing on a simple kindness to a stranger. Better yet, to someone I know.
Take the time to do something for yourself and then for someone you love.
