Winter Cheer

Winter is here again,
Go out and tell all your friends.
Snow is glistening on the ground.
Christmas cards are making their rounds.

When you go outside you can surely tell
That winter is here from the smell,
Of fireplaces burning to keep families warm,
While wrapping paper is getting ready to be torn.

Children are out playing in the snow,
Cars and vans are being towed.
Everyone is traveling to be with those who are dear,
Golly gee, Christmas is almost here!

Make this winter so much fun,
Shoot down the ski slopes like a bullet from a gun.
Go out and have the time of your life,
Make this winter oh so bright!
