They Fell Down From Heaven

They fell down from Heaven, and landed quite firm

A mistake gone awry, their lives all a turn

With the rules they were given, they started to live

The make shift peace already starting to give

Those in charge kept acting as Cain,

So on came the flood, on came the rain.

A new deal was made, a deal made in vain

For the rulers could not rule, and brought on more pain

The cycle continued, the evil went on

Till the memory of peace left and was gone

The hope still survives, of the promise made

Of the peace that will arrive, from the sacrifice paid

Isaiah foretold it, and John did as well

New Earth, New Heaven, where pain will not dwell

When man will no longer, survive on the flesh

Oh the innocent they slaughter, on those they impress

With self centered ego, they no longer will rule

For the flame of the ego shall begin to cool

And the heart shall take its righteous place

When our eyes are opened, when we see His face.
