Vampirised

A misty light
in this silent eve
This horrid fright
shall never leave

A darkened dream
when dead leaves fall
This haunting scream
will heed no call

A plague of mind
in the autumn cold
My wicked kind
shall none behold

A change's been done
in the story written
This twisted one
by doom was smitten

A scorching start
in my burning veins
but now in heart
mere darkness reigns

A restless sleep
in sacred halls
My castle, a keep
within wooden walls

At day I yearn
for times now past
but at night I burn
in nightmare vast

The blood of my brother
I unwillingly reap
As his light, I smother
alone... I weep
