Joy and laughter will have their way
and brighten up your cloudy sky.
They will come and lighten your day
and put a twinkle in your eye.

Laughter comes in so many forms
from a cackle to a guffaw.
It helps to warm the coldest heart
and causes thickest ice to thaw.

Joy will help you feel alright,
no matter what state you're in.
When your mood is dark as night,
it'll turn a frown into a grin.

The game of life is hard to play,
some who play may sit and cry.
Others of us will find a way
to give joy and laughter a try.
