who knows?
no
They started making plans
held my hand too tight
felt the words I managed
to write in ecstacy
too belligerent to smile beneath the grave
behind the being foolish
this doesn’t happen
so tell me what the difference
between being benevolent and being blind
could possibly be
too light to focus on anything that’s real
maybe the hurried
are just too simple minded
and maybe the one you choose has nothing to do with you and
everything to do with love
you never played the keys I made
I never once broke down to burry
all that I’ve been given
and all that I’ve lost
it’s almost too late to tell you
that echos are not the same here
and it’s almost too late to tell you
that I’ve changed my outlook
so overgrown
so underdeveloped
so corrupted
and so perfectly sullied
undramatic and joined with the limbs of the bloodied
unfortunate as it is
you’re starting to choke on the hopes of the pages
they’re smudged with your fingerprints.
