Post lengths can run from a dozen words to several thousand. How long is too long?
Poll Question:
Liam's Fallout Shelter is in hot pursuit of feedback from the masses regarding preferred post length. (This poll is primarily geared toward the critique-minded.)

Have you ever settled in to critique a post, perhaps a novel excerpt or short story, only to run out of gas before reaching THE END?

What's the ideal word count for a typical fiction post? Do you scan the length of the post before deciding to read it? How many times have you passed on a post because of the length?

Below, you'll find several choices for your maximum reading limit. I realize this is a subjective question, and your choice could be influenced by genre, style, and/or boredom. :)
After considering all factors, give us your best estimate.
Thanks!
Poll Options:
I prefer flash fiction, 50-500 words
I can handle a 1,000 word post before I grow bored
I prefer a story with some meat on the bones- up to 2,500
Okay, I can make it to 3,500 but your killing me!
4,500 in one setting, but you're gonna' owe me.
I'm the masochistic type, but 5,500 is my max
No such thing as "too long". Bring it on!
I came, I saw, I critiqued (and to heck with the length!)
Note: Once you have voted, you will be shown the current results for this poll. You may only vote one time in each poll and you will see up to the minute results anytime you may view it again.
