About This Newsletter

Hello everyone, I’m Samberine Everose and I'm here your guest editor this week in the Spiritual Topic of the WDC Newsletter, and just like I've always been saying, I will not be tired in expressing my thankfulness to all the beautiful people here in this wonderful community of writers for not only helping us to improve our writings but giving us also encouragement and inspiration every day. *Smile*

Faith may define us, our decisions, our beliefs.
We can choose and decide where our faith to stand.
Have we already yoked our faith to a solid foundation that stands firm?
so that in times of any storm we will always be live.

Letter from the editor

Where do we choose our faith to stand?

I was inspired by a parable in the Bible while creating this Spiritual newsletter this week, it was about the parable of the two builders, who built their houses in two different places. (Matthew 7:24-27) I know you already heard this parable and maybe somehow it's already familiar to you. The first builder built his house in the sand while the other builder built his house on the rock. Then come the storm and rain, just because the first builder built his house in the sand wherein there's no solid foundation to be expected because of its weak quality so when the rain and storm came, his house fell and crashed, then the other builder wherein he built his house in a rock where strong foundation is expected because its a rock, the house didn't fall but it stands sturdy even how much and many strong rain and storm came.

In other words, we can choose and decide where can our faith to be stand. Faith is important in our lives, Faith is something we believe, sometimes it is the one that we are clinging when we decide things that may able to shape us, or in those things that we are doing and holding or believing while we are on the journey of our life, it is something that we have, and can nourish us to have hope.

When we let our faith be rooted to things that are not permanent or can be fade away, we can be, like the builder who built his house on the sand, that when the storm came it will be fell and crashed down because it has a weak foundation.
So us, in our lives, in our relationship, in our goals, in our inspiration, when problems come, to test us, to test our faith we are easily fell and crashed down because we chose and built our faith in the sand.

But when we cling and try to build our faith to a strong and has a solid foundation even if how many storm or trials will come, we will not be crashed or fell down because we have a solid and a strong rock that can be trusted to hold us.

Even faith like a mustard seed can move mountains, if we have the strong foundation of our faith and let Him-The Lord God, the Creator of everything to be The One to cling on for our faith, letting our feet be fastened to His words and in The Truth then "Nothing will be impossible for us".

He replied, "Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, "Move from here to there and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you." ~Matthew 17:20

Nevertheless, God's solid foundation stands firm....1Timothy 2:19

So we should try to examine our faith if it really stands in the solid foundation and be submissive to fasten so that our house will not be fell and crashed but will always be firm and stand. *Heart*

Samberine Sig.
