Ask & Answer

Thanks for spending time with me today. If you liked what you read (or if you didn't), please take time and drop me a line. I'd love to hear your ideas.

And now, from the mailbag:

From hbk16: Writing emanates from diverse kinds of ambition. The goals are different from one author to another. Nevertheless all authors should offer the best writing piece which is interesting to read and possesses an great meaning. That is why even though writing is a pleasure, it is a great responsibility. It is a great issue which needs further debates.

         Thoughts, anyone?

From jimsatire: Damnit....Poetry again...LOL oh well one day my story will make one of these lists.

I can't speak for the other NN editors, but I select stories and poems for here from newbies who have filled out their Bio-Block and Biography tabs.

From write719: A writer's life is not an easy one. If you love to write, you have to be somehow crazy doing it! Thousands of people never make enough to live on. In this world, the arts don't fit into the standard to work for a living. Everyone must eat, so they must work for a living. This marks the artist as someone weird. Vincent Van Gogh loved to paint, yet he only sold a single painting during his life. Now that he's dead, his work fetches millions at auction.
Society doesn't appreciate the works of artists. The artist enjoys the process, whether painting or writing. Writers, like myself, enjoy communicating through the printed word. That's what makes us special, even if the world at large won't recognize the fact.

I'm not sure about being crazy to write. But I certainly enjoy writing. *Wink*

From Whata SpoonStealer Author Icon: People learn in different ways, like me, so I find it a bit difficult to learn from the 101. So I made up "WhataLandOpen in new Window. However, there is a nice INSERT list in there with 101 links to some important information. Then there's some video links. And there's lesson links things that sybarrios and I made up when with the Newbies Academy Group; these are self taught on how to do stuff around here. There's tons of ways to learn, and one-on-one is helpful for many peeps too. We're all so different! And brain damaged. *Facepalm* I always end up asking in the tech forum and I hope I can understand it. *Laugh*

Advertise us in your Newsletters if you like Whata you see. Always happy to help peeps.

Expand! I find HOW people learn to be interesting.

Thanks for the information. In fact, your statements are the reason for this newsletter issue.
