Letter from the editor

Have you ever set pen and paper aside and dreamed without worry? Without writing a single word created a new fancy in life? What is your reaction when presented with a new yet scary adventure?

The writer in me wants to tell you to write everything down. Every emotion, every new moment you've experienced, new explorations, should all be recorded. On the other hand, the adventurer in me wants to tell you to forget it all and simply live in the moment, breathe the air in and stop thinking about anything else.

The changes in our lives form our way of thinking, our way of seeing things. They shape our form of writing. We don't know what precious moments are until they're long gone. Yet when a new adventure presents itself, do you go for it or shy away from it? Every day we are presented with random choices we hardly think about. Then, when a new challenge lays before you, you forget the randomness of things and worry rather than welcome the experience.

Everyone's life is full of choices as we are characters in our own lives. The older we get, the less things surprise us. So, why not take a chance on something new? An adventure? A path unknown, perhaps even uncertain? We cannot always be afraid to take a risk. One day, we'll run out of time and the risks we should have taken will haunt our quiet moments and restless dreams. Sometimes it's best to go for it rather than hesitate too long.

'Til next time!
