Donations

I was watching a weekly call-in show last night hosted by a non-profit organization. At one point they mentioned that they were struggling with their budget due to having a deficit. Most non-profits will mention that they accept donations, and I remember when I started watching thinking that maybe someday I would donate. I enjoy the program and I get something out of it. It only makes sense for me (if I can afford it) to give back a little bit.

Don't forget about the contests you enjoy. If you can spare some gift points, why not donate? You can even do it anonymously!

*Bullet* Look for new contests to give donations. Some members really want to host a contest or activity, but might not have a lot of gift points for promotion and prizes. It can be a nice encouragement or "welcome" to the community!

*Bullet* Sometimes contests have a specific group or "bank" to which you can donate. Look for instructions in the contest or activity's description, or feel free to email the host! Most likely, they'll gladly point you in the right direction!

*Bullet* There are other ways to donate if you don't have a lot of gift points! Offer to help judge or even just add an advertising link to your signature! Review the contest with an encouraging note and make sure it's public so others can see it!

If you can, please consider donating to a contest or activity that you enjoy! I'm certain it will be appreciated!

As always, keep on writing!
