Creative Uses for Reviews

I think we can all agree that we love reviews. For the most part, we love opening our inbox to see new reviews, but what can we do to see that Reviewing page filled up? Here are some creative ways you can fit Reviewing into your contest/activity:

*Quill* Make Reviewing an entry fee! In order to participate in a contest, require participants to submit a review (or several reviews) first! Perhaps a review of the contest itself (gets you more exposure!) or a random item. *Star* Bonus *Star* Have reviewers use a special sig in their review linking to your contest for even more exposure!

*Quill* Have Reviewing as a part of the contest itself! Encourage participants to review one another's entry! This can be a requirement or just an added bonus. It can either influence the judging process or just get the reviewer some extra gps! *Star* Bonus *Star* Reward reviewers using "Reviewing CreditsOpen in new Window.

*Quill* Host a Reviewing contest! Reviewing can be a great writing exercise and an amazing writing tool! Use it to motivate members to review each other! Reward detailed reviews which contain helpful criticism.

*Quill* Use the Credited Reviewers List and Most Actively Reviewing Groups as motivation for lots of quality reviews!

*Star* Don't forget about time zones! We have WDC members from all over the world! If your contest or activity ends at 11:59pm, don't forget to state which time zone! (To make it easier, you can use WDC official time, which is Eastern Standard Time)

Always keep on writing!
