Sealed with a ring

Sometimes we often use a symbol or a seal as a mean to express our love and promises to our loved ones.

We are fond to use simple love notes, flowers, and stickers when we were still in any stage of relationship, but there is only one symbol that it doesn't change
only its purpose and meaning.
It differs in any age but it is just the same symbol.

It is the ring.

Why they prefer the ring to be the symbol of love
Because A ring is a circle, after all, and the ancient Egyptians considered the circle to be a symbol of eternity. Since a circle has neither a beginning nor end, it symbolized eternal love and the never-ending bond.
It is also a symbol of ownership or possession to the person who have the ring.

Here are the symbol/seal of love in different stages of relationship.(From WIkipedia)

*Tackr*Puppy Love ring-
This puppy love stage can last anywhere from two months to two years. Once your relationship is nearing the end of this stage, however, the initial feelings can start to wear off.

*Tackr* Friendship ring-
Pre-engagement ring, sometimes referred to as a friendship ring or promise ring, is given to a romantic partner as a show of a commitment to a monogamous relationship as a precursor to an engagement ring. It is advised to be given only after about six months to a year of a relationship.

*Tackr* Commitment ring-
Commitment ring express the desire to enter a long-term, exclusive partnership that may or may not lead to marriage, but marriage is not the desired outcome when the ring is given. Like an engagement ring, a commitment ring can be worn for a lifetime.

*Tackr* Engagement ring-
An engagement ring, also known as a betrothal ring, is a ring indicating that the person wearing it is engaged to be married, especially in Western cultures. A ring is presented as an engagement gift by a partner to their prospective spouse when they propose marriage or directly after a marriage proposal is accepted.

*Tackr* Wedding ring-
A wedding ring or wedding band is a finger ring that indicates that its wearer is married. It is usually forged from metal, traditionally gold or another precious metal. Rings were used in ancient Rome during the marriage

*Tackr* Eternity ring-
An eternity ring is the perfect symbol to mark a decade together.

we can add these different kinds of rings as a symbol to be an ingredients to our romance story teller.

But did you know that
Our Father God has also a symbol through a ring or a seal of ownership for His children.
The symbol or the seal was the signet ring-

Wear me as a signet ring on your heart,
as a ring on your hand. ...
(Song of Solomon 8:6-GW)

*Tackr* Signet ring - originating from the latin word signum meaning 'sign, originated amongst religious leader and Pharaohs. These rings were used to mark and seal documents by pressing the face which was historically marked with a unique family crest, into hot wax.

Paul the apostle declares that God has placed His seal upon us—the Holy Spirit. God has given to us the Holy Spirit as a deposit by which God places upon us His mark of ownership until He redeems the purchased possession (Ephesians 1:13-14).

Now you know, desire then most the signet ring-Holy Spirit a symbol or the Seal of Father God for all His possession.*Heart*
