Letter from the editor

Be like a little child

Have you ever heard that sometimes to receive real happiness
we should be first become a little child?

We may wonder and ask how
if this can be possible?

There's a verse in the Holy Scripture(Bible) that inspires me to ponder about this.
Truly I tell you, anyone, who does not receive the kingdom of God like a ‘little child will never enter it. Mark 10:15

Yes, this can be possible, because as we observe the characteristic of a little child's, happiness is always easy for them to reach
because of their characteristics of having simplicity in their desire and easy to be pleased.

There are two kinds of human characteristics that may rule us in receiving happiness.

*Tackg* 1. A little child's heart-
The characteristic of a little kid, that is easy to be pleased with and were satisfied to small things because they still see things in their simplicity as well as they are content with whatever they will receive.

*Tackg* 2. An Adult heart- reflecting this to an adult mind and heart who already knows everything and can't easily be pleased because of having their own confidence only.

When we have an adult heart it hinders us to receive happiness because we may already see things in their extremity and utmostnicy,
unlike a little child who always perceives things in their simplicity, so contentment will follow.

We should then shift sometimes our adult mind/heart characteristics to a little child's perspective so that it can unlock things that hinder us to receive happiness even if that is only simple or small things.

And as we welcome again a new year, we should forget things from the past that withhold us to step forward to the future as we desire to become like a little child perspective that will unlock our- heart to the satisfaction of things even if we are only seeing it in its simplicity and littleness. *Heart*

Happy New Year, everyone!

Our Question for this week Newsletter:
What are your childhood memories that s .

Our Question in our Newsletter "Romance/Love Newsletter (December 14, 2022)Open in new Window.
Do you also have other ingredients that can we make Love become sweeter not only for the first time? Please share it here.

From one of our dear readers.

Your NL "Love Like The First Time" was right on target.
One thing you said really hit home with me. You said,
"As we are growing together in love, our love should be sweeter, richer, and more pleasant as the years go by. ,
So that our romance will always be in freshness just like the beginning.
Those words describe perfectly the love I shared with my late wife and high school sweetheart, Linda. We eloped at 19, and I lost her when she was 30 and I was 31. We had only 11 1/2 years as a married couple. But the words I quoted above from your NL described each and every year of our life together perfectly.
Thank you for sharing those very special words. They brought back tons of wonderful memories.
