Which characteristic or personality is revealing in you?
The one who love conditionally or unconditionally?

Conditional Love Vs Unconditional Love

I would like to return back from my introduction on my last NL "Romance/Love Newsletter (March 2, 2022)Open in new Window. about a famous line of a female protagonist from a famous movie:
she said to her lover:
Do you love me because you want me?, or do you love me because you need me?
I wonder which one is more real?

And this gives me a thought about the two kinds of love if
Which one expresses more real love?

Are we using it as a personality of our main character?

Two different personalities that our characters can adapt also, or maybe we can inflict to them.

*Tackr* Conditional love-
Loving just because of something.

*Tackr* Unconditional love-
Loving without expecting something in return.

Honestly, I usually have that two characteristics towards others but it will depend on the situation.

For example, there are times that I feel that I would like to help and I am expecting a return.

But there are also times that I would like to do something, because I like to do it and I am not expecting any return or award.

But did you know that these two characteristics of love are stages that help us to nurture the love that we have.

As humans we often used the conditional love- we love a person expecting for us to be loved also.
In other words
It's hard sometimes for us to always fill the love or fill the needs of others, because there is a possibility that we will get empty.
Because we are still human.
But,
If we are connected to the One who had the unconditional love to us, we will never be emptied because we will always be filled by His Love and can release that love to others.

So this now answers my question: which one can nurture more the love?
Both of these characteristics are both important but they are only in the different stages.

Desire then to have the one that leveled you up. *Heart*
