About This Newsletter

Hello everyone, I’m Samberine Everose and I'm here, one of your full time editors in the Romance/Love Topic of the WDC Newsletter, and just like I've been saying I will not be tired in expressing my thankfulness to all the beautiful people here in this wonderful community of writers for not only helping us to improve our writings but giving us also encouragement and inspiration every day. *Smile*

We might be picky and always choose the right person for us, but do we also think in our romance writing if we too are also picky to partner our romance genre?
Which one would you select if ever?

Integrating Romance

Romance alone can be boring!

It is like a human when alone in an island.
It is good then that romance can be partnered with other genres so that it will break its naturality as solid romance.

We may find it when we grafted two different plants they've produce a unique blend,
even when we experiment to mix a dish with other dish, we may be birthed a good recipe. *Smile*
And also human, when a race will be blended with another race, the outcome can be beautiful and unique.

Same as when we write romance, it should be combined with other genres to break the boringness and we may see the range of adjustment of the moods that will create by the grafted genre, it will reflect in the story.
When Romance will already partnered with other genre-this other genre will be called sub genres.
Sub genres then are important to naturalize the monochromatic state of romance sometimes.

Here are some different genres that we may consider when we like to grafted our romance genre to other genres.
I just name some few of some romance trendy duo.

*Tackr* Romantic comedy
(also known as romcom or rom-com) is a subgenre of comedy and slice-of-life fiction, focusing on lighthearted, humorous plot lines centered on romantic ideas, such as how true love is able to surmount most obstacles. ~ Wikepedia.
- combining a comedy genre in a romance may make the story lighten.

*Tackr* Romantic adventure

If someone has an adventure, they become involved in an unusual, exciting, and rather dangerous journey or series of events. ~ Collins

- You may like a romance with a blend of action, in here it may involved many settings or one setting that may be dominant to the story.

*Tackr* Romantic drama

-focus on passion, emotion, and the affectionate romantic involvement of the main characters and the journey that their love takes them through dating, courtship or marriage. Romance films make the romantic love story or the search for strong and pure love and romance the main plot focus.~ Wikepedia

- You like to watch teleserye, this is where we mostly found this genre.

*TAckr* Romantic horror
-Romantic Horror is being overcome with the feeling of arousing panic, of being uplifted by fear, of inviting the lovely darkness to consume you. ~ wikipedia

This are romance that mostly scary and have the twisting effect

*Tackr* Christian romance

Also commonly referred to as inspirational romance, these books feature Christian characters and overt themes dealing with Christian faith.~ Goodreads

*Tackr* Sci -fi romance.(Science Fiction Romance)

Scientific romance is an archaic, mainly British term for the genre of fiction now commonly known as science fiction. ... In recent years the term has come to be applied to science fiction written in a deliberately anachronistic style as a homage to or pastiche of the original scientific romances.~ Wikipedia

*Tackr* Psychotic romance
A person who has the tendency to develop love psychosis if they fall in love and it doesn't go the way they want. ~Urban Dictionary

*TAckr* Fantasy romance

Plots like this one and many others that we often associate with fairy tales could also be considered paranormal romance.~study.com
Fantasy romance books are those with a storyline that includes magic, fairies or other magical creatures or some sort of supernatural phenomena like time travel and other fantasy related story ~shereadsromancebook.com

Just think of it, that standalone can be boring, we should not afraid then to try experimenting and mixing it with other genres that sometimes it may bring out the real beauty of the original based genre,
but this experimentation can be applicable to our musing versatility only, it can't be applicable to reality being in our relationships with the right one. *Heart*
