Many were asking now a days, how can we celebrate Christmas if we are still in the pandemic?
Can we still be happy and enjoy it?
absolutely yes, because Christmas is not been measure through parties and gatherings but by the hearts and Spirit.

Letter from the editor

Is there Christmas this year?

Have you already felt the moderate changing of the season? from sleepy warmth atmosphere to cold-windy morning..
Here in the Philippines, though we don't have winter here, just like the other countries, but we are already experiencing a cold foggy morning. *Smile*
This reminds me that Christmas is coming...
Which gives me an aroma of HOPE, and a more good vision to Confidence.

But, many were asking Is there Christmas this year? some may even being lazy to decorate the usual ornaments that were a traditional thing before..
I'm sad to think and feel that the usual excitement when Christmas is arriving has already fading..*Sad*

Though the dreaded Covid 19 virus and typhoons struck us painfully this year, this will not halt us to celebrate and be thankful for Christmas.

I heard also some of the news and from higher authority's opinions in where many were saying that celebrating and giving of gifts will not be allowed this season,
as well as some other Christmas tradition like caroling and family reunion (fellowship) with traditional foods,
but these may not cancel or even halt Christmas in its real meaning specially of the Gift that was already given.

Christmas may not be merry like the other past years, but we can still enjoy it even if we are already surrounded by danger days.

Here are some tips to consider that we can still do and spread the essence of Christmas to anyone.

*GiftR* 1. Spreading Love with our spirit-
Though, a face to face fellowship or gatherings may not be allowed this year, but through our spirit we may still spread the love.
Just by giving something- that defines the Spirit of Christmas- it will not be how worth the price is the gift, but how we put some love on the gift.
The quality of the gift will depend maybe on how we are going to put our spirit through our message within that gift.
This is in where the receiver will reflect the spirit that we put on it.
So for example- I am thinking of giving a wallet to a friend, because I am wishing him/her to be prosperous for the coming year.
I feel that I would like to give a simple casement for a cellphone for a friend because I am wishing him/her to have a new cellphone for the coming year.
Through your gift to a loved-ones it symbolizes and declares your good wish for him/her.

*GiftR* 2. Spreading Love through our words-
Though, we can't have a face to face fellowship with handshake and hugs with others, but the use of the internet will help us with this one.
There is power in our words, remember that God created the world through His Words..the 'let there be...statement from Him.
Instead of using our words to tear or deprive others, why don't we use it its real purpose.
Wish a well a friend, encourage, inspire, declare goodness, greet with the Spirit of Christmas.

*GiftR* 3. Spreading Love through our good deeds to others-
This just explains that what you do to others will return back to you. We know those good deeds that we shouldn't withhold, especially for those who need it.

I would like to take you in where there is a baby that was born in Bethlehem 2000 years ago.., because it's so beautiful to think about..

John 1:14~ And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us........

in where it is the true light that gives light to every man and t'was coming into the world ( John 1:9)

This is the main essence why we are very thankful and we should be always thankful that there is Christmas, because God's Greatest Gift is He chose to be with us,
became flesh and dwelt among us, it's already happened and nothing can stop the way that it was already done.

So even the enemy is spreading a virus that may be collapsing our breathe of life that our Maker bestowed in us before, take heart!
because God became flesh and He is with us, we may trust Him. His Great Gift is in us, and we should spread it so that others may know it also.

So even if there will be no more gatherings, and parties, in this year, we can still have Christmas celebrations because it is the Spirit that counts and will define its real essence. Merry Christmas! *Heart*

Ask & Answer

Our Question for this week Newsletter:
How will you spend your Christmas this year?

Our Question from "Romance/Love Newsletter (November 11, 2020)Open in new Window.
In your opinion does Familiarity can be developed or you already have the sense of Familiarity the first time you see your loved one?

Great newsletter. The kindred spirit we feel with someone who has the same background and beliefs as we do connects. In the Bible there is a scripture that says “their hearts burned with one another”. That’s a good way to describe that warm feeling you have when you meet someone special.
